GNC Launches Redesigned Website GNC has enhanced its position as premier multi-channel retailer for Health and Wellness. As part of a larger brand awareness effort, GNC undertook a major e-commerce redesign that launched on September 18,2009. The new interactive site serves as a destination for healthy living while developing consumer relationships and offering enhanced content. GNC’s online experience has been refined with a powerful navigation system where consumers can shop by targeting their individual goals and needs. The improved product page features, enlarged product images, ratings and reviews, and a section for consumer-driven question and answer to allow consumers to make more informed purchasing decisions. Additionally, the new interactive site, features a large goal-based community where consumers connect, share and learn. MyGNC is a community site comprised of three core segments: Health & Wellness, Diet and Sports Nutrition. In the MyGNC, consumers can interact with one another, tell their own stories through blogs, image and video posts as well as highlight their connection to GNC through My Regimen functionality. The end result is a website that goes beyond the transaction engaging consumers in a multitude of ways that is relevant to them and enables them to live a healthier life.
